    We are pleased to announce the Inclusive Insurance Training Program for Supervisors in Asia jointly organised by the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii), the ASEAN Insurance Training and Research Institute (AITRI), the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) and the Toronto Centre. The training will be hosted by the Office of Insurance Commission Thailand and will take place from 7 – 10 May 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.

    We are pleased to announce the Inclusive Insurance Training Program for Supervisors in Central and Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia, jointly organised by the Bank of Lithuania, the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii), the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) and the Toronto Centre. The training will take place from 12 – 16 November 2018 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

    From 18-22th of June, supervisors from French-speaking Africa came together in Rabat, Morocco for a training programme that went over the fundamentals of supervising inclusive insurance markets. The training was jointly organised by the A2ii, the Toronto Centre, the International Association of Insurance Supervisors, and the Moroccan supervisory authority (ACAPS).

    The Financial Services Board hosted the IAIS-A2ii Regional Meeting for Sub-Saharan Africa in Pretoria, South Africa. Twenty-five delegates from supervisors across Sub-Saharan Africa attended the meeting, including representatives from the sub-regional committees for East Africa, French-speaking West and Central Africa and Southern Africa.
