The role of data-driven approaches in insurance supervision is rapidly becoming a cornerstone for regulators and industry players alike. As emerging technologies and innovative data-based solutions reshape the landscape, understanding the challenges and opportunities of data-driven supervision is essential. This year’s 19th Consultative Forum will provide an interactive and engaging platform to explore the foundation and advanced applications of data in insurance supervision. Key topics include the role of analytics in regulatory frameworks, hazard and exposure data modelling, and the future of technology and collaboration in enhancing insurance supervision.

Hosts
The upcoming 19th Consultative Forum is jointly organised by the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii) and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) in partnership with the Microinsurance Network (MIN). It will take place alongside the International Conference on Inclusive Insurance 2024 in Nepal. The conference will be hosted by the Nepal Insurance Association, Life Insurance Association Nepal, Nepal Microinsurance Association and the Nepal Insurance Authority in cooperation with Munich Re Foundation and the Microinsurance Network.
